Dr. Jason M. Petersen
Dr. Petersen grew up on a ranch in Saratoga Springs, Utah. He received his Bachelor of Science in Digital Media and his graduate degree from Ohio State University College of Optometry, where he specialized in Ocular Disease and Advanced Contact Lens Fittings. He has also had training at ocular disease clinics in New Mexico and the Salt Lake City VA Hospital.
Dr. Petersen’s patient care experience includes treatment and management of ocular disease, co-management of major ocular surgeries, primary eye care for adults and children, advanced contact lens fittings such as scleral lenses and orthokeratology (corneal refractive therapy), and low vision.
After practicing in Boise Idaho Dr. Petersen and his family planted roots in Sandpoint Idaho where he is providing quality eye care for Bonner County and the surrounding area.
Dr. Brayden Petersen
Dr. Brayden graduated from Brigham Young University, where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science. He earned his Optometry degree from Pacific University College of Optometry where he graduated with honors. He gained advanced training at the Forest Grove Pediatric and Vision Therapy Clinic, Salt Lake City Veterans Hospital and Eye Institute of Utah. During this time, he specialized in the treatment of ocular disease, contact lenses and co-management of ocular surgeries. During his clinical rotations he received two clinical excellences awards in Vision Therapy and Low vision.
Dr. Brayden is a member of the Idaho and American Optometric Associations. He is fluent in Spanish and enjoys giving his patients the quality of life they deserve through good vision. When he is not working he enjoys working on the farm and being with his wife and four kids.
